The Austin area is home to more than 1.5 million people. The University of Texas has about 50,000 students many of whom have never heard the Gospel clearly presented. Austin is also home to a very large Mexican immigrant and temporary worker population. There are very few Spanish speaking churches, most are Pentecostal and 7th Day Adventist. Austin is an outdoor oriented town. Many of the residents can be reached in public areas and at public festivals.
Everyone involved in the New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship is a volunteer. However, we do help each other out as much as possible. We also have connections with Christian business men to help you obtain a favorable job or business that would allow you to have ample free time to help with the NCMF vision.
PRIMARY NEEDS:
- evangelists
- 3 Students enrolled at the University of Texas to help us form an official NCMF student organization
- Spanish speaking church planter
- Short term helpers for specific projects and dates
- summer interns
